Planning and Zoning

The Planning and Zoning Department oversees land use, building permits, zoning regulations, and floodplain management to ensure safe and sustainable development in Osburn. The department enforces city codes, reviews permit applications, and assists property owners with zoning and land use inquiries.

For questions about Planning and Zoning matters within the city limits of Osburn, please contact Jenna Arthun, Community Planner and Floodplain Administrator. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and Friday, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

The City of Osburn contracts with Building Official Keith Teeters from the City of Kellogg for plan reviews and inspections. To schedule an inspection, please call 208-783-7751.

Applications for Building and Planning & Zoning may be printed and filled out, but they must be submitted in person to the City of Osburn Clerk's Office.
